Do you fund private or government purchase orders and tenders?
We ONLY fund government purchase orders and tenders. Our services are focused on supporting businesses with government contracts/government-awarded tenders.
What is the minimum and maximum order value?
Clients can apply for purchase orders with values ranging from R50,000.00 to a maximum of R100,000,000.00.
How long does the process take?
For new clients, pre-approval is typically completed within 24 hours, and payments are disbursed within a few hours of approval.
Do you offer fixed-rate pricing?
Absolutely! We offer customized fixed-rate plans for our recurring clients, designed to align perfectly with your business needs and requirements.
Do you provide funding for purchase orders outside South Africa?
No, we currently only fund purchase orders from South African government institutions.

For which reasons will an application be declined?
Applications can be declined for various reasons. The most common include:
- The purchase order issuer (department) is not responding to confirmations.
- Lead times for manufacturing the goods are too long.
- The wrong specification was quoted, resulting in underquoting once correct pricing is obtained.
- The department is experiencing budget constraints.
- Delivery fees were not considered during the initial assessment.
These checks ensure that all funding is allocated smoothly and successfully.
Do you provide financial assistance letters for tendering purposes?
Yes! AAA Consortium can provide a letter of intent to fund, subject to our standard due diligence process, to support your tender applications.
How and when is repayment made?
Repayments are made the day funds have been received into the dedicated account, capital and cost of capital is disbursed along with client profits.
Can I apply for funding for multiple POs at once?
Yes, you can! The more, the merrier, we’re happy to help fund multiple purchase orders so your business can keep growing.
How quickly can I receive funds after approval?
Once your funding is approved, you can receive the funds within 48 hours, helping you move forward with your order without delay.
Do I need trading history to apply for funding?
No, you don’t need a trading history. As long as you have a valid purchase order, you can apply for funding with AAA Consortium.
How long does it take to get an answer on my application?

Do you pay my suppliers directly or pay the funds to my business?
We pay the supplier amount directly to the supplier/s.
Is personal collateral or a personal guarantee required?
No, you only need a valid purchase order to access funding, no personal collateral or guarantees are required.

No, using AAA Consortium for purchase order funding does not impact your existing bank facilities or credit profile.
How does funding help my business grow?

Yes, AAA Consortium is registered as an Accountable Institution with the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) and operates in full compliance with all relevant South African financial regulations.
What is Purchase Order funding?
Purchase Order (PO) Funding is a type of short-term business funding tool that helps you deliver on a valid purchase order when you don’t have the cash upfront to cover the costs.
Can I deliver the stock myself to minimize cost?
We’re unable to allow self-delivery, as all deliveries go through approved channels to make sure your order reaches the end user safely and without any issues.
In which account will the Invoice be paid into?
Invoices will be paid into the dedicated account.

Can I still apply for funding if I am blacklisted or under debt review?
Yes, we can assist you as long as you have valid PO with the correct documents.
Is there some sort of tracking on the deal to see where we stand and what process or stage we are with the deal?
Yes. We have a client portal, where you can log in at any time to view real-time updates on your deal, including its current stage. In addition to the portal, we also send automated email updates to keep you informed throughout the entire process.
Are fees calculated only business days or all days?
Fees are calculated from the day the capital is deployed until the funds are received in your dedicated account. This calculation includes weekends and public holidays.

Must my company be registered for VAT?
No, your company does not need to be VAT registered. However, it is beneficial. If you are registered, you can claim the VAT on our invoices and lower your net cost, as AAA Consortium is a registered VAT vendor.
Can you work with our existing suppliers or must we choose from approved suppliers?
We are willing to work with existing suppliers, however if we find that the supplier is not credible, we will suggest a preferred supplier.
Will you contact my client directly?
Yes, we may contact your client directly to confirm details and ensure the funding process runs smoothly, keeping everything on track for you.

How do I track my purchase order funding?
Log in to the Clients Portal on our website. Your current and past funding requests will be visible as soon as you log in, including the deal reference number and progress updates.
Can I monitor my funding requests online?
Yes. The AAA Deal Tracker lets you track the status of all your funding requests in real-time without needing to call or email.
Will I receive updates about my funding requests?
Yes. Each funding request is updated in the portal as it moves through the process, so you always know the status.
Is the deal tracker available for all AAA Consortium clients?
Yes. Every client with a portal account can access the tracker and monitor their funding requests at any time.
